The reunited Soundgarden will tonight play their first show since 1997.

Organisers have announced the line up for this years UK Glastonbury Festival.

Mediaworks, which operates TV3 and C4, are to launch a new music channel called C42.  

The channel will be launched on May 1st to coincide with NZ Music Month and has been designed to complement C4, which has moved to a more youth orientated channel rather than a specialised music channel.  

C42 is to play up to 30% New Zealand content.

Eminem has announced that he will not be releasing the album 'Relapse 2'.  

The rapper wrote on his Twitter page "There is no Relapse 2."  

The album was originally meant to be released in December and would feature Dr Dre and 50 Cent.  Dre said that with the new album Eminem "surprise a lot of people."
