Pearl Jam look set to head back into the studio in April to start preparations for their follow up album to 2009's Backspacer.

Soundgarden are planning to head back to the studio next week to record their first album in over 15 years.

Korn are currently writing their new album which is said to be partly Soundgarden influenced.  

The band are to start recording the follow up to 2010's 'Korn III: Remember Who You Are' this April.  It will be Korn's 10th studio album.

Soundgarden are to release their first ever live album.  

The album will feature songs that the band played live during November and December of 1996 while on tour of the West Coast of America.  

Titled 'Live On 15', the album features 17 tracks including a covers of The Beatles hit 'Helter Skelter' and 'Search and Destroy' by The Stooges.  

'Live On 15' is to be released on March 22nd.
