Red Hot Chili Peppers frontman Anthony Kiedis is donating an MTV Europe Music Award to an online auction.  

The auction was organised by Japanese pop star Yoshimi and also features other items such as autographed guitars from Anthrax's Scott Ian and Limp Bizkit's Wes Borland.

The items are set to be up for auction soon and can be viewed HERE.

Andy Gill, the guitarist from Gang Of Four, has claimed that the Red Hot Chili Peppers based their career on his band.

Stevie Wonder has given Flea from the Red Hot Chili Peppers a giant novelty $10,000 cheque to be donated to the Silverlake Conservatory of Music. 

Flea started the Los Angeles based non-profit school in 2001.  The bass player posted the photo on his Twitter account with the message "Stevie wonder helping out my non profit music school the Silverlake conservatory of music with a giant check!"

Chad Smith, drummer from the Red Hot Chili Peppers, has said to expect their new album this June.
