Coldplay have announced plans to release their own comic book with the storyline based on their latest album 'Mylo Xyloto'.  

The comic will be released over six instalments and has been written by Mark Osborne (Kung Fu Panda) and will be published by The Simpsons creator Matt Groening's Bongo Comics Group.

Coldplay have announced the title of their upcoming fifth album will be 'Mylo Xyloto'.

The album will be released on October 24th on digital, CD, vinyl and a limited pop up edition.  A new single 'Paradise' will precede the album on September 12th.  

'Mylo Xyloto' will be Coldplay's first release since 2008's Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends.
