Nominees For 2011 Grammy Awards Announced - Full List Here
The 53rd Annual Grammy Awards will take place on February 13th, 2011 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
The nominees have just been announced with 109 awards up for grabs. Eminem leads the pack with 10 nominations, followed closely by Bruno Mars on 7, with Lady Gaga, Jay-Z and Lady Antebellum all up for 6.

Jay-Z Talks About Shooting His Brother As A Child
Hip hop star Jay-Z has opened up about shooting his brother when he was a child.
In an interview with The Guardian, Jay-Z said he shot his crack addict brother Eric after he stole his ring. He explained "I thought my life was over. I thought I'd go to jail forever... it was terrible. I was a boy, a child. I was terrified." Eric however did not charge his brother and even apologised to him.

U2 Auckland Concert Sold Out!
U2's one and only NZ concert at Auckland's Mt Smart Stadium sold out this morning in less than an hour
Tickets went on sale this morning at 9 am with all 50,000 tickets gone by 10 am.
Rumours are rampant that the band, supported by rapper Jay-Z, will announce a 2nd show shortly. Tickets have already appeared on Trade Me with sellers asking up to $1,000 for tickets.

Jay-Z To Open For U2 In NZ & Australia
It's been revealed that Jay-Z will open for U2 during their concerts in New Zealand and Australia at the end of this year.
During an interview with Rove McManus on Australia's The 7pm Project, the rapper confirmed that he will be the special guest at the shows.
Tickets go on sale Friday September 3rd for the Auckland concert which will be held at Mt Smart Stadium on November 25th.

Jay-Z is set to release a book of his memoirs titled 'Decoded'.
The book looks back at Jay-Z's life starting with his childhood.
