Katy Perry is reportedly keen to play Freddie Mercury's girlfriend Mary Austin in a flim about the Queen singer's life.

The film, which sees Sacha Baron Cohen in the lead role, is to be produced by Graham King who worked on the movie The Departed.

Queen guitarist Brian May is pretty certain that Freddie Mercury would approve of Adam Lambert singing live with the group.

A series of duets featuring Michael Jackson and Freddie Mercury are set to be released by Queen next year.
