Jane's Addiction have secured the services of TV On The Radio band member Dave Sitek to play bass and help write material for their new album.  

Sitek was brought in after former Guns N' Roses bassist Duff McKagan left the band in September last year.

After being with the band just 5 months, Duff McKagan has left Jane's Addiction.

Duff McKagan will make his debut performance with Jane's Addiction at a free show in Hollywood, in front of only 100 fans.  

The show will take place at Hollywood's 'Bardot' club and the first 100 people through the door will get to see the concert.  The former Guns N' Roses bass player joined the band earlier this year when Eric Avery departed.

Duff McKagan is more than enjoying his time as the new bassist for Jane's Addiction.

Former Guns N' Roses bassist Duff McKagan has been snapped recorded new material with Jane's Addiction in the studio.  

McKagan replaced original Jane's Addiction bassist Eric Avery earlier this year.  The picture appeared via Dave Navarro's Twitter page with the caption "Another day of writing and creating in the studio with Jane's Addiction!"
