Blur are to debut two new songs with a live video stream via their Twitter account this July.  

In the video below, Blur bassist Alex James revealed they'll perform the songs 'Under The Westway' and 'The Puritan' from a secret location in London at 6.15 PM on July 2nd UK time.  That means an early rise for New Zealand fans, as it will screen here at 5.15 AM Tuesday July 3rd.  Both songs will …

Damon Albarn debuted a new song in the UK yesterday, which is thought to be a product of the latest Blur recording sessions and can be viewed below.  

The acoustic track was performed at the Poetry Olympics event in London.  Blur are also set to headline a concert on August 12th at Hyde Park and will coincide with the Olympic Games Closing Ceremony.

Damon Albarn of Blur and Gorillaz fame has expressed interest in collaborating with former Oasis man Noel Gallagher.
