Blur have released their first new song in 7 years, and it's available for free download via their website.  

'Fools Day' was released on special "7 vinyl for Record Store Day, of which only 1,000 copies were made.  The band have though decided to make it available for free so everybody would legally be able to get the song.

With Blur recording a special single for Record Store Day on April 17th, Parlophone Records are hopeful that the band will head back to the studio and record more.  

The song Blur recorded for Record Store Day will be released via Independent Record Stores throughout the UK on seven inch vinyl.  It's been limited to 1,000 copies.

Liam Gallagher has claimed that Blur are in it for the money.

The Blur film "Blur: No Distance Left to Run" premiered in the UK yesterday and was attended by all of the members of the band.

British band Blur are to release a film at the beginning of next year.  

"No Distance Left To Run" was filmed during rehearsals for Blur's summer tour after the band had just come back together after a nine year break. 

The movie is set to be released in the UK on January 19th, 2010.
