RIAA platinum-certified and ARIA Award-winning Brisbane pop sensation Sheppard have shared a brand new Acoustic Version of their latest buzzing single 'Keep Me Crazy' at all digital retailers via School Boy Records/Republic Records.
Stripped down to nothing more than acoustic guitars and shimmering vocal harmonies, the song retains its power, passion, and panache with a new sense of natural soul. Already, “Keep Me Crazy” is shaping up to be another big hit for Sheppard. In little under a month since its Billboard premiere, the track has impressively clocked over 3 million Spotify streams and counting and landed on over 20 of the platform’s official playlists.
Sheppard are also going back on the road for their first headline shows in over two years to celebrate the success of their latest hit ‘Keep Me Crazy’. Hitting radio as the band toured stadiums around Australia and New Zealand with Justin Bieber, the song raced up the charts, spending weeks in the iTunes top 20 and continues to smash the airwaves, currently one of the biggest Australian songs on radio.
The band are embarking on three special intimate shows in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney to play to their Australian fans before they head back overseas for the international release of “Keep Me Crazy”. “Playing live is so important to us and before things get too crazy overseas, we are looking forward to playing for our fans here,” said George Sheppard.
In addition, the band will be heading overseas to join Little Mix on their UK summer tour. “Playing with Justin Bieber around Australia was a dream come true for us, so to get the opportunity to play to our UK fans with a band like Little Mix is yet another opportunity this year where we’ve had to pinch ourselves!”
Kicking off June 24th Sheppard will join the UK sensations for 13 unforgettable shows with more tour dates to be announced soon! Tickets to their Australian and UK tours can be purchased here.
From serenading Ellen and Jimmy Fallon, to abseiling across the world’s biggest festival crowd at Brazil’s Rock in Rio, to guesting at the Radio Disney Music Awards, on sitcom Girl Meets World and The Voice US, Canada and Australia, Sheppard continue to reject the notion of impossible and ‘Keep Me Crazy’ continues to push the limits again for the independent Brisbane act.
Sheppard will be unveiling their second full-length very soon! Be on the lookout for more news soon.
