After an action-packed year in which they’ve well and truly earned their reputation as one New Zealand’s most exciting live acts, Drax Project will play a one-off show in Auckland on Saturday, December 17 at REC.
The four-piece has gone from strength-to-strength since first emerging on Wellington’s busking scene – creating hysteria on the streets with their own unique versions of hip-hop and pop tracks.
In 2015, Drax Project’s debut self-titled EP wowed critics and fans alike and saw them signed to Universal Records NZ. Since releasing their second EP T/W/OO for the label in April 2016, they’ve gone on to take New Zealand stages by storm with their captivating live performances.
While still widely known for their killer live remixes, the Drax Project boys – Shaan Singh, Matt Beachen, Sam Thomson and Ben O’Leary – have been working hard behind studio doors to bring their fans new and exciting sounds.
