Estère reveals first single 'Ambition' from forthcoming album
/ Ben Doy
After spending the last five months touring Africa, Australia, France and the UK, today Estère shares the first new work from her forthcoming, self-produced album. Listen to 'Ambition' and become acquainted with U.S. Presidential hijacker and Bordello resident, Magdelaine Lavirgin – who wanted to be the United States President.
Accompanying the ambitious new release is a stirring music video, created in collaboration with Votre Arme and Candlelit Pictures, which you can watch below. The video is a striking visual femininity, power and ambition through the medium of dance, taking the ultimate aim at the predominantly male, whitewashed narratives that carry through western world histories. In this powerful visual, Estère (and Magdelaine) take a stand for the misrepresented.
Magdelaine Lavirgin is an expert in the oldest recorded profession. Her biggest weapon is AMBITION. Grit, business skills and genuine concern for her fellow human beings has lead her to undertake a presidential campaign, the likes of which have never been seen before.
