Damon Albarn interested in collaborating with Noel Gallagher

Small

Damon Albarn of Blur and Gorillaz fame has expressed interest in collaborating with former Oasis man Noel Gallagher.

When asked by Shortlist Magazine if he would consider working with his former rival, Albarn replied "Well, why not? He should come on the Africa Express train [an Albarn-formed music collective] in September. That'd be a nice chance to collaborate."

Albarn also offered an insight to his thoughts on Gallagher during the heights of the Oasis / Blur war from the 1990's.  "I never held anything against him, even right in the middle of it. I just kind of admired them in a way; that they were better at handling it all than me. They didn't seem to get too affected by the bullshit."

Damon Albarn and Noel Gallagher finally buried the hatchet last year.
