Red Hot Chili Peppers to release covers of Bowie, Ramones, Beach Boys on new EP

In celebration of being inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame this past weekend, the Red Hot Chili Peppers are to release an EP of cover songs.  

Titled 'We Salute You', the six track EP sees the Chili's cover The Ramones "Havana Affair", Iggy & the Stooges "Search & Destroy", Neil Young "Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere", David Bowie "Suffragette City", The Beach Boys "I Get Around" and Dion and the Belmonts "A Teenager In Love".

Just a few weeks ago the Red Hot Chili Peppers gave away a free live EP which is available via their website.  

Rolling Stone is reporting that 'We Salute You' is set to be released on May 1st.
