The Feelers To Record 'Right Here , Right Now' For Rugby World Cup?
Rumours are floating round the internet this morning that The Feelers are to re-record Jesus Jones 1991 hit 'Right Here, Right Now' as part of the 2011 Rugby World Cup campaign.
Rugby World Cup officials have been tight lipped thus far concerning the rumours, only adding that the song "World in Union" would remain the official anthem.
However it seems much of the general public are not impressed with the possibility of The Feelers performing the song. Comedian Dai Henwood said via Twitter "The Feelers cover 'Right Here Right Now' as the Rugby World Cup Jingle> Really?! quite glad a don't watch union anymore" followed by "Have heard that Feelers rumour from 2 reliable sources. Personal bet is on Crowded House musing about something to do with the weather".
