Jane's Addiction Recruit New Bassist

Jane's Addiction have secured the services of TV On The Radio band member Dave Sitek to play bass and help write material for their new album.  

Sitek was brought in after former Guns N' Roses bassist Duff McKagan left the band in September last year.  

Jane's Addiction frontman Perry Farrell released a statement which read "Dave, Steve, and I are fully immersed in the process of making modern music. It has been a great experience thus far, and the results have so much potential."

Guitarist Dave Navarro added  "This process has been both inspiring and incredibly freeing. The events over the last year have proven themselves to be a necessary part of the journey as they have led us to our current creative team and direction."
