Pink Floyd To Perform At The London Olympic Games?
Pink Floyd are considering reuniting for a special performance at the London Olympic Games, according to reports coming out of the UK.
An insider told the Evening Standard "Its long been made clear it would take something very special to get Pink Floyd back together again and it doesn't get any bigger than the Olympics. Like Sir Paul [McCartney, who is tipped to open the event], they have been a major part of the nation's culture over the past 40 years and it will be very fitting that they're involved when London is on show to the world. It's hoped everything can be confirmed in the coming weeks."
Although Pink Floyd last reunited on 2005 for Live 8, both David Gilmour and Nick Mason joined Roger Waters on stage during his 'The Wall' show last year at the O2 Arena in London for a performance of Comfortably Numb.
*UPDATE* - David Gilmour Says Pink Floyd Are NOT Reforming For Olympic Games
